Workplace conflict can quickly drain energy, destroy morale and reduce productivity. But where there are relationships, some degree of conflict is inevitable; so should we always regard conflict as negative ? Managers frequently need to work at not ignoring conflict or procrastination when it arises. When we ignore conflicts, we not only allow them to become destructive, but we also miss the opportunity to promote interpersonal growth and turn negative energy into a performance-driving force.
